Haven't you heard the saying "we love death as much as you love life? It's true.

It seems like you gun crazy Yanks support your assertion Robus.

On Wednesday, two teachers and two students were killed at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia. Nine were sent to hospital while dozens more were wounded.

The suspect, a 14-year-old boy, has been charged with four counts of murder in the shooting. The FBI had already noticed him over a year ago when he reportedly made online threats with images of firearms.

    Bonkers!

Say what you please. You'll wish for your guns back ere we give up ours.

A state that opens its borders while disarming the native population has violated the social contract.

Amazingly there is no minimum age requirement to possess a rifle under federal and state firearms law, according to the Giffords Law Centre to Prevent Gun Violence, but individuals must be 18 or older to buy one under both sets of rules.

The military-style AR rifle is a high-powered weapon that has been used in security threats across the country, including the recent assassination attempt against Donald Trump, and in an estimated 10 of the 17 deadliest mass shootings since 2012.

The rampantly repugnant Republican JD Vance said at a rally in Phoenix. “We don’t have to like the reality that we live in, but it is the reality we live in. We’ve got to deal with it.”

Why not just initiate rigid gun control? It’s bonkers not to and one must question whether US politicians from the Republican side of the House actually want to keep their kids safe.

Our democracy has I think been weakened by the Conservative and Labour duopoly. Reform of the House of Lords is in the forefront of the new Government’s agenda (rightly so) but the House of Commons should also look to itself (and almost certainly won’t). I do not know whose interest Starmer is governing in but it sure doesn’t feel like the people of this country.

Where on earth did this outburst come from Sir Outwood?

Got out of the wrong side of the bed or what?

Years of disappointment BT I suspect. Starmer would like to think it is just the last Tory Government that is the result of all our ills. Some yes, all most certainly no. People are getting fed up of finding services they relied on are just not there anymore. Dentists, libraries, local buses, decent clean water and unpolluted rivers. The broadest shoulders trumpeted Sir Keir and we find the very FIRST shoulders to be gone to were pensioners and fuel benefit. When my late brother was ill I found out how few palliative care places are available for people with terminal illness. I think people are angry and fed up. God knows (though I couldn’t stomach him personally) at least Corbyn had some radical ideas. It looks like we have got another Blair. Voted in with huge promise but in the end people couldn’t wait to be rid of him.Rant over for now but it isn’t over if you know what I mean. I’ll be back.

There was a fair bit of enthusiasm for Blair and New Labour back in 97, today there is no enthusiasm whatsoever for Starmer and Labour. One third of those eligible couldn't even be bothered to get off their arses and go to vote at all. Of those that did, two thirds didn't vote for Starmer. Just over 9 million out of 48 million registered voted for Labour, they barely have a mandate to govern.

I kept on telling you lot that Corbyn's take on Socialism would have done wonders for this country but would you listen, would you heck.

The Red Tories now in power are just as bad if not worse than Rishi's comedy act.

I don't know if any of you have tuned in to any of the recent PMQ's? All Starmer does is blame the Tories for the last 14 years but appears to have no clue in how to shake things up, apart from rob the UK's pensioners.

    It's grim and no mistake.
