    Charlton Athletic Post Match Thoughts

Back in the US and back to the early morning routine. So was it a point won at a ground where we haven't faired well at in the past 40 years or two points lost after taking the lead and looking in control?

Thoughts on today's team and managements' efforts?

Actually enjoyed what I saw today. Much more cohesion amongst the ranks.

A solid back four that looked comfortable all day long, great to see. Having said that, McCart still gives away those totally unnecessary free kicks when there's no pressure to do so. Kelly had a very good game in midfield and kept the ball low and broke some good play.
As for his goal. what a brilliant effort 10/10 for that.

No complaints at all about there equaliser, a beauty that would grace any Prem game on MOTD, Kelly's included. A good point on the road against a team who will finish in the top 10 come the end of the season.

NB. Evo gets another yellow card but he had every right to challenge the decision, it's just how he does it

I’d have taken that this morning.

    Onwards and upwards.

Fair result over the 95mins.Our free kicks need working on & our forward lines poor.

I think it’s the most considerate thing the players and officials could have done.

They waited until we could watch ifollow before they scored.

    Good point

We scored and fair play to Charlton who then put the burners on. We fell apart for several minutes then. Reasonable point. What a difference a week makes. Wilks and Powell great last week. Very poor today

Yes we’ve taken four points off two serious promotion contenders.
Those two teams had won every game bar one.
Not now, their stats aren’t anywhere near as good.

Well done to the mighty Millers

Happy with the point. Tiehi if fit I'd play him in midfield move Odoffin to centre back in place of Humphreys. Nombe & Wilkes like I said our players most likely to make things happen. JCH doesn't.

I would have taken a point before the game but it's always disappointing to draw after taking the lead.

I'd like to see their goal again because, whilst he took it well, I thought Phillips maybe could have done better. He got contact on it, how much, I'm not sure.

Good to see Rafferty back. Without a doubt we look a better side already.

Not quite sure what JCH is giving us at the moment.
