The Barnsley way. My thoughts .

Buy cheap, take a punt.
Speak to fans and ask them to “Judge us by our actions…. Then do nowt….
Raise beer prices in the ground after saying “we want fans to come early…and stay later” ( why? To pay £6.50 a pint?) …
Poor fanzone, gradual decline.
Run out of adult shirts 2 days after launch…..Kids sizes 4 weeks afore Xmas
Close car parks half an hour before kick off, (on safety grounds…whilst crowds are lower than previous years..

Close stands…..Open stands….. move supporters, move them back againÂ….
Close car park gates to create bottlenecks with fans trying to get in to South stand car park, and out of South stand car park after game… all through a small gate 5ft wide ( big trouble coming here when a big club with nasty fans visit I predict)!
No white on shirt……..gradual changes to the identity.
Fans forum….on….off….on….off

This is now the Barnsley way. Nowt to do with the way the football is played.


If you cant define your interpretation of the “Barnsley Way” Nudge….it’d be best not mentioning it again….. because absolutely Nobody, (only you) seems to have a clue, and most are fed up of hearing the words and asking you to explain it. The club wont explain “The Barnsley way”….You can’t…. And your constant mentioning of it is tiresome.
