He made 4 of the 5 possible subs which is the minimum virtually every team makes.
We can’t play that high press and sustain it with the same forward line.
I never felt at any point in the game that the flow was disrupted, more we were just seeing it out. We stopped committing Macari/Bedeau forward for the last 15minutes but nothing else changed. We still looked the more likely to score.
It was completely controlled in my eyes from start to finish and credit to SM for another victory!
Are some on here saying that Palmer shouldn’t have come on at 2-0 to get more minutes? Or that Cedwyn should have stayed on the bench instead of giving him a chance to rediscover his touch? Or Brown not given the opportunity to perform in a match day situation? Or Gordon also denied match minutes?
Yes, if we had not brought Cedwyn on he would not have got injured but that rather defeats the point of it all.

Should have taken him off, they knew he was struggling they were never likely to score even with us down to 10 men, bad decision by the coaches

Three opportunities plus half-time to make substitutions seems to me to be enough to make tactical changes but retain a "window" for non-concussion injuries if required.
The whole thing is a mess IMO. A manager uses all his windows to change his team and then with 15 minutes to go a player gets a broken leg and the team then has to play with 10 men! This rule could affect relegation or promotion and needs changing (possibly to the ref being the judge of a serious injury substitution?)
