I totally agree 165, with your first paragraph that is! It’s OK playing out from the back if it is a viable option. However, it is often fraught with danger, especially when facing a high press. Even top sides like Liverpool and Man.City have been caught out and conceded goals in this manner. Also, if a side is continually playing out from back it is much easier for the opposition as they know that there will be no long ball to deal with. To my mind, mixing it up is the best ploy.
