I think Tut's got a point here. For me personally it doesn't really make a difference, I don't usually remember players for what they did and didn't win, BUT I think to be considered an all-time great, you will need to have won something. Not everything every year and every season, but you will need to have achieved the greatness that winning a major trophy is. Shearer did.

I find it hilarious that Kane went to Bayern solely for a dead-on trophy, to finally win something, and won f*ck all.
