Really looking forward to this one. Not because I'm expecting a great game (against a team of spoilers) but because we're going to learn a lot.

Previews of the game have been right in saying it's a tough match up, and Woodman knows how to make life difficult for us.

By now we know that SM is committed to our possession game and that we're still the best in the league at playing it. But today we're going to see how easy it is, or not, to stop us playing. That's how the wheels fell off last season - we dropped our level and team after team after team were able to stop us playing (Walsall, Harrogate, Crewe, Gills the list goes on).
If we're genuinely good, our play will hold up on days like this. So today I think they'll be big clues as to whether we'll see the Notts of the 1st half of last season, or still a bit too much of the Notts of the 2nd half.
