Players I expect to score this season

Maja, Johnston, Mowatt, Molumby Swift, Grant, Bartley, Fellows, Furlong, Ajayi, Wallace, Diangana, Styles, Racic, Dobbin, Dike. Cole.

This is why I don’t worry too much about having a 20 goal a season striker. (Although Maja might be that this season)

    Dike?
Really? I will be surprised. I think even with recovery, he is not going to be profitable in front of goal. I sincerely hope that me assessment is completely wrong of course.

Palmer spots the opposite goalie out of the box and lobs him from 50 yards .

Serious questions over Dobbin and Cole, if they are required to play any part in this season we are in trouble
Regarding Diangana, when he came on it looked like a kid from the terraces had donned his replica kit and took the field of play, so lightweight, offers nothing, won’t play on either wings due to Wallace, Fellows, Grant and Johnston being ahead of him and he’s certainly not a central midfielder by any means, one to get rid of in January

I can guess who you will put down as first goalscorer against Plymouth then!

Diangana had the highest combined number of goals and assists in our side last season, that is a fact.

I agree he’s a frustrating player at times but he’s by no means a basket case.

Dobbin and Cole I agree with, Cole is less than pointless.

There are better players ahead of him now, and in January one or two more may join, I just think it might be best for him to move on, injuries or not he’s never shown the form from when he first joined.
His bottle job in the second leg v Southampton was a disgrace

I don’t disagree with you Bomber, all I’m saying is that his stats last season made him our most important player in forward possession in the stats that count…..scoring goals.

I agree but I still expect him to pop up with a goal or two. Other than that he looks a weak link. I think Dobbin will come good, there’s a player in there. Cole, I think he’ll score this season but he’s not a first or second choice and I can’t see that changing. So pleased for Maja (and us!) after last season he could have only dreamed of a start like this.
