    A few weeks ago, many of us, including myself, were very pessimistic about the coming season. However, after the start to the season and looking at our bench the picture looks totally different. If we can avoid too many injuries then we should be there or thereabouts.

    The ‘Laughing Cat’ was a front cover of the Radio Times from the 1930’s, a special ‘humour’ edition.

    I think is is a lovely picture and I had it pinned above my desk at work for many years; whenever something pi$$ed me off, I would look at that cat and it never failed to make me smile.
