Lancs all out for 140 not long after lunch on day 1 of their match. Meanwhile, Notts are bubbling along nicely at 195-0, thanks to a ton from Ben Slater, a 50 from the captain and a rather generous 24 no-balls from the hosts.

We've won a game![]()
The Manchester rain isn't forecast tomorrow, so a Lancashire win would leave Notts with a 15 point lead going into the final games next week. The only realistic results that would see Notts relegated are a Lancashire win away at Worcestershire and a Notts defeat at home to Warwickshire. A draw should see us safe.
Warwickshire have only won one game all season, they lost by an innings last time out. Notts could relegate them by winning if Lancashire win as well, assuming Somerset finish their bottle job first.
I was pleased to see that former Notts all-rounder Joey Evison had a good match. I was sorry he left.
