Astonishingly low ratings above, obviously clouded by the result rather than the performance. Aside from a very flat 20 minutes after half time I thought we played fairly well but just couldn't finish our chances.

We do need a conversation about Conor Grant, though. I've yet to really see what he offers us. Reminds me a bi o Ian Hamilton many years ago, where you know his name was on the team sheet but you struggle to remember him contributing anything of note, good or bad.

Although we didn’t play as well second half, they are defensively very good but keepers done very well against Jodi, should have had a pen, goal ruled out for offside, would need to see if Brown got a touch and should have scored near the end, one thing they didn’t do was bottle it but we could have been better, I don’t think it’s time to lose any faith in what we’re doing.

Remarkable ratings in the OP, hard to take them seriously to be fair.

Any of our big chances go in, never mind the pen or ‘offside’ goal then those ratings go up significantly for pretty much the same performance.

Matty Palmer did what Matty palmer does, nothing much wrong with his performance.

I don’t disagree that we’ve missed some golden chances but how have we missed sitters if we’ve failed to open them up?

The original ratings are definitely a reflection of the result and not the performance.
They set up the same as Fleetwood and sat deep.
We’ve lost that game but in my opinion they weren’t as good as Fleetwood. We should have been 3-0 by the time they scored.

Absolutely, it was an OK performance against a good team and it's bewildering how we didn't get anything at all.

Bass 7 - Solid throughout, can't be blamed for the goal. Pros should be expected to finish 1-on-1s
Macari 6 - Fine, never looks out of place there
Platt 6 - I didn't enjoy seeing him outpaced for the goal (Balders would've caught him ) No way sponsors MoM. OK apart from that.
Bedeau 6 - Probably the pick of the backline, but do you always have to be unlucky in the opposing box?
Palmer 6 - We can certainly say he hasn't lost his passing due to the injury
Abbott 5 - At least this will calm down those fans that love their new toys too much
Jones 6 - I think we shouldn't overlook those days JJ wastes a lot of good possession. Why is he never moved inside?
Crowley 7 MoM - Impish as ever. Needed those in front of and around him to do their part more
Grant 4 - Waste of a shirt, especially today. Didzy got all his goals from inside-left why not start him there and Brown up top?
Tsaroulla 6 - I blame SM, never take off a player who keeps getting in on goal, it's a precious thing that will come good
McGoldrick 5 - Didn't give us what we need today, would've given more in last season's position in a game like today's

    Subs
Brown 6 - Started horribly then got into it
Austin 6 - Sorry for him, but di Brown get a touch making him offside?
Gordon 7 - No shortage of decent balls into the box. Good option to have, allow JJ to play No10 the opposition would hate that.

The ratings are a joke, Bass didn't have any chance with the goal and looks a safe pair of hands for a change. We defended well apart from the goal and could have been 2/3 up at the break.
We deserved a draw at least but I can't take the OPs ratings seriously.
