That’s my point Omeg - some people are self obsessed! Watch most of the posts and it’s all about the responses for these people - oh you lucky thing - oh it’s fantastic - she’s gorgeous - fantastic achievements blah blah!

Telling your girlfriend/wife/dog/husband they are beautiful or you love them for others to see and respond is weird in my eyes! These people post and are probably sitting in the same house as them FFS! It’s weird!

Surely your private life should be private!

We perhaps often do not agree Al, but in this regard I agree totally with what you are saying. We, as a family, do not do Facebook. I recall my son, at a very young age blurting out, “Facebook is for idiots,” we use those words often in a jocular way because of what we hear people do on such media.

You mention life and privacy and it is quite alarming how people can very slowly leak information about themselves and their family which provides others with information that they would not want out in the public domain.

Even people who you would expect to know better let their guard down on occasions. Why do people look for acceptance, why do people go out there seeking comments about themselves? It is beyond me why but clearly it makes them feel better about themselves I surmise.
