It’s been a lifesaver to have a group of people who actually understand and validate how it affects your life. Also I pretty much learned music production through contacts on Facebook, some who have been very supportive. It’s pretty much what you want it to be. I thought at one point I would ditch it but it’s become quite important to me for the reasons I mentioned.

There will always be positives about anything but don’t get all the stupid comments and posting s hite just for self obsessed responses.

Only this morning I received from someone I know telling his partner - I love you babe and you look beautiful. She was probably in the same room so how embarrassing FFS!

Glad my young daughter is not on it! My old man always used to say - anything private should stay private and he was right!

Why have you joined Facebook for updates from other people's accounts if you've got no interest in receiving them or posting anything yourself?

Is it because (1) you're nosey (2) want to rip the p iss out of them or (3) do you secretly post on there after all but don't want to admit to it so you can maintain some kind of moral high ground 😄 ?

And that is the point.. If you have people or relatives that you do not keep in contact with personally on a very regular basis then why, particularly if you can do it privately, which we all can. If they want to be involved with you, it is so easy to keep it private.

Is it people who have a, ‘look at me,’ attitude and want everyone to see how great they think are.

Simply put…….. why do they do that………unless they need some sort of security and a need to be accepted.
