Poor officiating killed the game in 15 minutes . Ref let a disgraceful foul go in the first minute. At least a yellow. They proceeded to trip, pull, take the Micky out of the poor man the entire game carte blance. Their number four should have been sent off before half-time.
Their first goal looked well offside to us in line with the play, which was more then the Linesman was.
Yes we're a poor team at the moment, but the next three games will be more of a chance to see where we really are in this division. I also don't agree with all the slagging our keeper is getting. I didn't see anything in his game yesterday to call him out for. Viktor has gone, let it go.

Jock the referee had a 'mare but that had nothing to go with how superior Birmingham were. After 20 minutes it was obvious we were going to get nothing from the game so I sat back and enjoyed their football. The Japanese and Korean players were outstanding. Worth the entrance fee alone.

The the difference in the style of play and the quality between the two sides was gargantuan.

I've mentioned Tiehi in an earlier posting, but in his defence he was given an impossible job by your Messiah.

Don’t agree with booing any player.
He is a liability at crosses though he was flapping at every corner.
He shouldn’t be a scapegoat but imo he’s poor.

We’re in a sticky patch, chances haven’t been converted in many games and we’ve had a bad day at the office yesterday

Rejoice Wednesday lost again and some of that lot want Rohl out….couldn’t make it up

Back to back away victories coming up, when was the last time we had that. Not one but two….London busses

Life wil be rosier soon and some on here can click to phone back on the receiver

I wish that I had your confidence in it flour.

If it happens it needs to happen sooner rather than later

He did that for two reasons, if we lost he had the ready made excuse that we’d lost to League One’s best team and if we got a good result he’d be able to brag about how great he must be to get a result against them. It was a mix of self preservation and self promotion depending which way the result went.

I said to people sitting next to me that if the foul you are referring to had been in the Premier League it would have gone to VAR and the player would have got a straight red card.
It was a reckless challenge, high, both feet off the ground and the referees failure to even book him set the tone.
However, the referee was not the reason we lost the game. That was down to team selection and woeful tactics.

Yes that’s exactly what I thought too
Lots of Birm fans complementing him on what a nice bloke he was. Nah he knew we were going to be outclassed so he laid the foundations beforehand and put the ribbon on afterwards

Can’t blame him for doing that. Birmingham were infinitely better than us last season. They gave it a good go and won quite a few at the end but the early months of Rooney sent them down. Added to the clear superiority they’ve also made investments that will have turned a few heads in the cship never mind div one.

Yesterday was always going to be a car crash. We were never going to be able to lay a glove on them unless for some reason they had a complete off day

On to Shrewsbury and that elusive away win

I think a lot of people have looked at the next three games with hope that we will finally put in a good performance and result, I hope you are right. Think of the alternative though, take 2 points from the next 3 games and still be sat in the bottom four after 10 games!!
We do have a core of very good players and that makes us think this can't go on for much longer. Football is a game of confidence and yesterdays game will do nothing to add to the players confidence.
Evans is a motivation style manager and he has his work cut out now, do not under estimate the pressure on him to start getting results. There are rumours stated on here that there are issues in the dressing room, whether that is the case or not, it is clear to anyone watching the games, they are not playing as a team, we look disjointed and lack any real style. Yesterday wasn't about the result it was about how we played and how the team were managed, and that didn't look good.
The facts are not good, 4 out of 7 with no goals, our only win came after the other team went down to 10 men (yes we played well before the sending off), only 1 clean sheet, set pieces are wasted (how many chances from corners and free-kicks yesterday?).
So your positive belief is good but what have you seen that makes you so sure we will finally win away from home and to do it two in a row?
