    Harrogate

Well after that performance and result I assume the number of posts on here will be quite low.
Conway was a good place for 2nd choice MOTM but it should have been Lankester by a country mile.

It is difficult to know whether we were that good or they were that bad. A combination of the two probably. Agree that the Lankaster was probably MOTM , but I don't begrudge Conway getting it. I thought they all showed up well today and Cooney seems to have improved his defending. He has always been a decent passer of the ball and is good at crossing the ball. But his defending let him down last season at times. But he has looked very good this season

Good win and all quiet as you say, and no pleased surprise even from certain people we all know. It was a really enjoyable afternoon all round and so glad Marschall's great saves at the end preserved the clean sheet too. Wiped out all the minus GD from the Chesterfield game too.

Yes, it was a great game to watch and I think we have to give the Alex a little credit as Harrogate didn't look inept or leave lots of space. Rather the Alex did lots of things they haven't tried to do this season: closing down in packs; getting the ball forward quickly; people (particularly Lankester) bursting through the lines and people (again, Lankester but also Tabs) taking the opposition on and using quick feet to get past their marker. They only twice turned attack into defence by moving the ball from 30 yards from the opposition goal to eventually passing the ball back to Marschall, something they have been doing frequently for the last 6 months.
As I said, Lankester was easily MOTM but Conway, Hemmings and Tabiner did really well. No-one had a bad game (but I knew at the time that Shilow wasn't going to take that late goal opportunity - just great Hemmings was following up(another first this season)).
Credit needs also to go to Lee Bell who said this is what the club were going to do in this match. Let's hope he hasn't made a rod for his back as having shown its possible to approach a game like that, there will be expectations for the future.
That leaves 2 questions: will LB play the same in the next 3 or 4 games?
    And.....Will Cooney ever score?
