I wonder if Macca follows Notts Mad and misses the adulation he had. I wonder if he regrets leaving a team that played to his strengths, allowing him to score as freely as he did.
You're suggesting that he left for more money and couldn't care less for "a few pensioners". I wonder what Millwall's owners and fans would think of that if it were brought to their attention. Of course Millwall have no pensioners among their fans who, including their owners, just might be showing their impatience at the lack of goals. Macca, of course, "wouldn't be too concerned", he's on a fat wage.
Of course leaving for more money was his primary motivation. Anyone who suggests it wasn't needs sense checking. Having played 180 minutes of football when at one stage he went almost 2 months without scoring for us last season I doubt he is very concerned at all. If they don't play to his strengths he is hardly likely to score a lot of goals. They aren't. Simple stuff that even a pensioner like you should be able to comprehend. Disclaimer: I like pensioners on the whole.
Off the mark for Millwall.
