What? Erm I dunno,I didn’t think that I would have to back it up with evidence tbh,if I remember right it’s summat to do with how long tt takes light years to travel or summat

Where’s bleeding Stefan when you need him,I still need to know why the moon fits exactly over the sun in an eclipse even thought it’s 400 times larger

You don’t need Stefan to answer your eclipse question. it is simple Physics with a mathematical equation. A closed curve that is symmetric with respect to two perpendicular axes, this is related to line of sight principle similar to a Rainbow (or Prism to give it the proper name).. You are seeing sunlight refracting through water (rain) which the eyes interpret.
In the film Independence Day, Jeff Goldblum used the same theory of triangulation when the aliens were using our satellites against our planet… No google was used in this answer.

This is a very poor Stefan explanation,Rainbows and bleeding Independence Day?

When I read Steffies replies about space and the universe I read it as though Brian Cox is explaining it to me,all nice and gentle and In a language that I understand,I read your explanation with Father Ted in my head explaining to Dougal why the cows are nearer and bigger than the ones far away, did you go to the same school as griff and when was Independence Day a documentary? No,no,no this won’t do,I need Stefan back to explain it,he knows what he’s talking about,if not him then his mate (can’t remember his name now) but they both disappeared the same time 😉

    6EQUIS was it??

Ok… imagine you put a football in your house.. erm… actually think mine 😎…
If I put a football in the conservatory windowsill and sat on the settee under the front window which is about 36 foot away..
I then hold a tennis ball in my hand at arms length.. as I centre the tennis ball inbetween my eyes & bring it forwards, there will be a point where the tennis ball blocks the view of the football…

In fact do you want me to explain how a “dimmer” switch works on a fo0kin lightbulb or a NCFC fan 🤔🤷*♂️

6EQUIS once told me that scientists know that there is a planet at xxxx spot but nobody or any space telescope has seen it yet but they know that it’s because of the balance of the universe or summat it’s there and you know what I believe him because he knows whst he’s talking about, nobody has seen it but it’s there that’s how good his conversations are,all I’m hearing from Bill and Ben is cows in a field and Independence Day!

The inventor of the Pringles can was so proud of his creation that he wanted to be buried in one and his family honoured his wish by putting some of his ashes in a can and burying it with him
