Seemed to be Larne guy who was the rumoured front runner so maybe won't come off. If he does want to be the main man suppose its just a matter of time as his stock is certainly high. Can't begrudge him the opportunity.

But thought we took Warnock in because Leven didnt want to be top man? Was certainly narrative at the time.
Fair enough if hes had a change of mind. Lot for him to weigh up as think they are a bit of a basket case the now.
The current players seem to hold him in high regard. His period in charge and the recent run with him as coach have yielded great results. That may not be coincidental, though he was also involved in the previous set ups.

Robson took him in as a coach and he had a decent reputation when he joined.

I don't think any of us wanted him as interim manager, but I think he won most of us over.

He took a squad of players who were really struggling and turned it around immediately. It was like night and day compared to what happened previously.

The cup semi at Hampden was one of the best games I have ever been at and I don't think we would have come back from behind twice in that game, if Robson or Warnock had been our manager.

Be good if he hung around a bit longer.

I watched that semi on TV - Hoilett’s contribution too was immense for us in that game, as I recall.
