Terrible result against a poor side.

Corberan at fault today for me.

    If Diak****e is a player I’m Starmer’s boyfriend.

Think Bomber is right in that, despite the size of our squad, we lack genuine depth and remain very reliant on certain key players and if they either aren't there (Mowatt for example) or underperforming (Furlong, Fellows today) then we struggle. To be fair though, this is probably true of most Championship teams.

Wednesday may not be a great side but don't think anyone can argue that they didn't deserve the win today. Carlos's changes were starting to work but coming back from 2-0 at half time was always a big ask especially given how well Wednesday defended compared to our defensive failings.

Poor performance but it was always going to happen at some point and it's the Championship where anyone seems to be able to beat anyone else on the day. Dust ourselves down and go again Tuesday.

We had enough chances to have won this .
Hope the Albion fan who suffered a medical emergency is ok .

Not a performance one would expect from a team top of the league and unbeaten, a very lazy half hearted showing with several players regressing into their old ways notably Furlong and Ajayi who were appalling.
Corberán too with his poor team selection and slowness in changing things, why wait until half time or 60 mins, Furlong and Ajayi could have been subbed after 30 mins the way they were playing, a big improvement needed against Boro, especially in attitude

I think today was a good demonstration of how good and important Mowatt has been for us this season.
First half we were without Mowatt. It was a disaster. We looked disjointed and tentative. Wednesday weren't particularly brilliant but we gifted them 2 goals and looked like we didn't want to be there.
Second half with a not 100% fit Mowatt, we were a different team entirely and eventually put two past a well organized defense.
Overall we deserved a point out of that game but if you defend that badly with 3 minutes to go, you get what you deserve. I think that third goal was Wednesday's only serious attempt on goal the entire second half, which again shows how important Mowatt has been.
I suspect Corboran was saving Mowatt for the Tuesday game. Hopefully, we didnt waste Mowatt's fitness on todays game.

Furlong, who has been very good so far this season, was completely missing for two of their goals. The defending for their winner was non existent, I can’t remember us conceding such a bad goal for a very long time.

Couldn’t agree more Bomber! Just got back and Furlong and Ajayi looked like pub players - they were shocking! Carlos at fault too for not starting Mowatt and said before the game it was a disaster. Start him and bring him off if need be not the other way around!

Not the greatest game for Fellows but we still needed his pace. I fail to see what Wallace beings as he has no pace and can’t take a man on.

Wednesday were there for the taking as they were not that good! Very p issed off!

To my mind this result was purely down to a totally inept first half performance. It didn’t help losing both Mowatt and Molumby as their replacements were non existent. Diakite just doesn’t look good enough. Rasic was OK playing with Mowatt against Plymouth but was also poor today. I just hope that both Mowatt and Molumby are available for Tuesday.

Beaten but still top....just a plus point as I know we are all a little disappointed. But just liking winning your first game early in the season, it's good to get the only defeat in the league out of the way early....won't be too many this year.
