To be honest, we were second best tonight. Too slow and ponderous and no, I still think that Fellows should have started and if Mulumby was fully fit, he should have as well.

Only one person picks the side so he takes the plaudits on the good days and should hold up his hands on the bad days.

I expect us to be better on Saturday but please god no Wallace or Racic.

Totally agree! Best player on the pitch was Luke Ayling!

Wallace is an embarrassment and God - who would pick him instead of Fellows who actually run at their players! Racic poor and to be honest so was Johnston!

Just back from the game. I couldn't believe the starting lineup. I expected Johnston to start although to be fair Grant was quite good and Johnston was poor when he came on. Wallace for Fellows was a terrible idea. I had hoped to see Diangana in for Swift. Was he injured? I also thought he might drop Ajayi. Boro looked a decent side. If we win Saturday then we will have accumulated a decent number of points for this stage of the season. But we will only win if Carlos picks the right team!

Pick the strongest side from the start. It worked at the beginning of the season but now were into rotation to keep players fresh and stop them being upset and its not working.

Haven’t seen that many games live so far, probably this one and Portsmouth A (where we could have been a couple of goals down 1st half).

I am NOT impressed with what I have seen… Ponderous, tentative, pedestrian, no cutting edge, technical errors and yesterday saved by Palmer from a bigger defeat.

Wallace could have been free on goal twice, but two horribly over hit passes ruined that (Maja and Swift). Technically, far from acceptable standards.

    Is Johnston the same player!?

    Palmer MotM.

Just seen the extended highlights, we’ve reverted back to last season, slow, ponderous, hesitant, no bite in midfield and lacking of ideas up front.
Looks like Corberán wants us to play like Man City but this is the Championship where if your ‘not on it’ and match the opposition for guts, determination and skill then you’ll be turned over.
I was looking forward to Corberáns ‘own team’ but very disappointed with what I am seeing, we were damn lucky v Portsmouth and the last two games we have been appalling, I don’t get this squad rotation, harping on to years ago, one sub, terrible pitches, nigh on 50 odd games per season, those players from yesterday never complained about tiredness
Pick your best team, win the game and worry about the next one later, personally I’m getting a bit fed up with Corberán I don’t think he’s as good as many make out, play this mundane ponderous football v Millwall and we all know what will happen,
Sorry guys, rant over back to me sunbed😎

We had a taxi driver in Athens this week and he is a fanatical Olympiacos supporter. We discussed Carlos Corboran and said that the majority of their fans were pleased when he went as the football he served up was dire and very defensively minded. It’s not just us then!
