Snake and Red Squirrel stealing suspect charged by police..Hmmm 🤔

A suspect has been charged after a pair of snakes were stolen from a store.
Officers were called to the Mansfield Aquatic Reptile and Pet Centre around 2.40pm yesterday (3 October).

That’s after an unknown man reportedly walked into the shop in Nursery Street, Mansfield, and pocketed two snakes and a Red Squirrel. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I still pop on for a look alf but nowhere as much as I did,I was thinking about the lack of posters on here last week and it my thoughts turned to what has been said elsewhere about this forum being over run by non Carlisle supporters like myself and it’s probably true,if griff is going to get fellow Utd supporters back on here then it’s time to move on as it’s not fair on him,there’s been some top quality posters who have disappeared from here lately and I don’t like to think that I’ve been a part of that,I would like posters like Stefan,yoonited and howoldboy to come back and start posting again about the club but they wont if Notts County supporters and the like put up crap about random subjects,griff needs his own kind on here and it is supposed to be a Carlisle Utd supporters forum after all,hopefully the grey squirrels can be shoo’d away from the red squirrels natural habitat

You do have a point Chalky,but from what I've seen it's not us "Off comed uns" that's the problem,but the Cumbrians who seem to fall out in lumps. I get your gist though and will refrain from posting on here and stick to my own board which you are welcome to post on Chalky. 😎

On the subject on influx of non CUFC posters on here… it’s not a competition who has the most posters.. nor is there any commission paid for traffic on it.. I sae the drivel on the other board at times & Frank & Timmy talk to themselves.. it’s a civilised board this for banter football & non related and a group of great people… even better if the cheating magpie f0oks off 😎🤣

The think is Alf is that the Cumbrians didn’t have a falling out as such,that troll didn’t help but kel shooting at anything that moved didn’t do anything for inter forum relations,yoonited put up a couple of posts on the Baggies forum a couple of weeks ago so he’s not banned and just chooses not to bother here,howoldboy last post was about politics in July and hasn’t been seen since but posts on The Buzz so it’s not as though he’s stopped posting about Carlisle and giving his views,I couldn’t find Stefans last post as he had a longer name which escaped me at the time,there are far more who’s disappeared and it’s probably down to me and the like

Shame you think that, but you’re welcome to your opinion. I’ll “shoot” at anyone who insinuates disgusting things about me and also those that think I shouldn’t be offended about it. If people choose not to post on any forum because accusing people of being ***ual offenders isn’t taken well then they shouldn’t be on the internet anyway.

Everyone’s welcome here, that’s the point of Footymad, travelling between boards is encouraged so Alf, Chalky and everyone else your contribution is as valid as the next man’s. Yes, it would be great if there were more Carlisle contributors but I can’t make them come.

Others have wandered off as pointed out. Yoonited got caught up when P got potted for accusations of p­aedophilia; he was quickly restored to the board but has rarely been seen since. Stefan and his other usernames wandered off and the only reason I can think of is that in an email he asked me to do something with someone at the football club and I refused. Perhaps it was coincidence though, who knows. Howoldboy I think wandered off because of the banning policy. I have to say that I have the greatest respect for those three who were solid members of the board and I regret their leaving, but my respect means that I have to also respect their decisions.

Running this board is an inexact science, you can’t please everyone. But its outward face is just the tip of an iceberg, you don’t see the rubbish that is my view of it as Editor. It's a sea of redacted threads and banned usernames. The last few weeks have been particularly difficult not just here but also for Kel on the Cambridge board. It all coincided with P making the same accusations of kiddy-fiddling against several of us here over on The Buzz and getting banned If you didn’t see the fallout on another thread over there I’ll give you the full list of usernames that Kel and I dealt with:

Is it any wonder that some get caught up in friendly fire? The point is that running this place isn’t easy because it relies on people like you to keep it going and keep it honest. But also to understand that mistakes happen but decisions are made with the best intentions. And will continue to be.
