Unfortunately with our recruitment team's lack of activity in the forward areas of the squad, a bit like the likes of Cameron and Slocombe last season, we've got no choice but to keep playing him because there's very little else.

Brown should never have been signed. He doesn't fit our ethos and he is at best a bang average footballer, at worse lazy and decisive. Tonight doesn't look bothered. No Scott again! God help us , our strike force is awful.

Massive contrast to the Burton game where most at least thought we had a fair ‘reserve’ crop on the fringes who were capable of stepping up.

Tonight shows how wrong we were. This lot (with a few exceptions) really can’t be arsed.
