Like Kerr my first fail in months. Could not get to grips with it as my scoring shows. Even managed to rescue failure from the jaws of success when I chose the wrong alternative of the two remaining likely words. Off to sit in the cupboard of shame with the lawyer…

I just miss the birdie and despite opening with a blank I am a bit disappointed at a par until I look in here and see the carnage caused by today's word I guess I was greatly helped by luckily having the first two letters after my 2nd guess.

That's just the way stableford scoring works in real golf, no further punishment once you reach a certain level of ineptitude
