We have reached a new low (hopefully).

One statistic to ponder----Huddersfield 25 shots on target, Barnsley 1 shot on target ( presumably the Marsh effort going towards goal at the near post before it was blocked.

Any Reds fans that went should be refunded and compensated with free coach travel and match ticket to Blackpool.

    Shameful sh1tshow.
Attendance 2182 with 332 Barnsley fans. Clarke should apologise to each of them.

For some reason, arrived into the Far East and could not get a footy mad connection for several days, so no score prediction for this game and just seen the above score and your reports / comments.

How low can we go ?

Feeling like the best news currently is that I cannot get an internet connection so then can't read what is really happening at my beloved Barnsley fc.

We are in a lot of trouble and there are many tentacles as to the reason why we are in a lot of trouble .

By definition that means that there aren't any simple solutions .

Sacking the HC isn't going to turn this group of players in to a top six position .

However not sacking him may see the club with a relegation fight on it's hands .

It's way easier to accept what we are right now and right now we are a below average league one club , there's is very little hope of challenging for the play offs this season and keeping our nose out of the bottom four is the only show in town .

We can go down there's very little doubt in my mind that this is possible .

We are heading for a season like we had in the last championship season if this continues .

Things will have to improve significantly to finish mid table as things stand right now .

The stench of decline and mismanagement from the ownership has lead us here .

The HC is a symptom of that , the players are a symptom of that too .

The buck stops with those at the top as it does in any business .

This one is no different .

Clarke having a dig at the recruitment in my opinion .

This generally only ever goes one way , out before bonfire night .

I do not think he was having a dig with those comments but I do think he was having a dig at the recruitment team last night with his team selections and his approach to the game, he sent a team out that was not capable of winning the game and his tactics proved that by not trying to win but to try and stop Huddersfield from winning which of course failed miserably, he basically set us up to fail just to highlight how bad our squad is

He’s only repeating the comments made on here lots of times.

He’s doesn’t help himself with some of his decision making.

A question to the recruitment team….

Would you have us believe there aren’t any decent full/wing backs, centre mids or strikers available in the free agent market?

Players out of contract at this stage must be for a reason you’d think. Coupled with the fact that they won’t be anywhere near match sharp and we already have enough players that aren’t fit without adding to that. I can’t see us signing any free agents at this stage.

We have 35ish matches to play this season. With this lot it will be a disappointing outcome at the end of the season. It’s nailed on!

At least show ambition and have a go. Who wants to watch this Shyte all season? It’s worse than Collins!

Clarke sent a team out that was:
    Not prepared mentally
    Disorganised
    Lacking in confidence
    No structure
    No energy
    No Plan B
    No nothing

Other than that we were fine.

Jury was out - now it’s in - Clarke needs to go ASAP.
Yet another balls up at recruiting a HC.
This is out of character for the club - something is not functioning behind the scenes.
We need an open supporters meeting soon to put directors feet to the fire and get to the bottom of this.
If at all possible I will be there.
