Forgive me if there is a thread already for our big Croatian. I think this guy is and can be the real deal for us. I noticed his match winning goal for us on Sunday was his first goal for 2 years.

An interesting stat I noticed somewhere today was that in the last game he scored a certain Messi, Neymar and Mbappe also scored in the same game. That's some talent to be on a field with!!!

I hope he starts against the tims.

At the risk of diverting this thread/anticipating the Tims thread, will be fascinating to see what Thelin does. I wonder whether Shinnie, Palaversa and Nielsen might all start?

Elfsborg very much set up to concede possession and hit on the break, which we’ve not really seen yet. Will this be the time? He’s got two weeks on the training pitch to prepare them, although the downside of our international call ups is that’s not true of much of our defence.

Clarkson to make way for Palaversa for me. Play Shinnie further forward, with Ante alongside Nilsen.

I know it's early days, but the loon looks like a player and don't think he will be the type to go missing at Parkhead.

Absolutely my thoughts, Need to be solid in midfield and Clarkson isn't the man for that gig. Gives Shinnie license to roam forward which I also like
