For Mair's, Jeff King smashed it hard and relatively high down the middle. Mair was diving to his right and reacted by sticking his leg up at an unnatural angle. His foot probably wasn't far off head height when it connected with the ball. It wasn't a trailing leg.

They are comparable in that both keepers saved the penalty, but that's about it. Mair's was remarkable, the other one wasn't.
