Joining this league would be a HUGE risk for any PL club. The risk of losing your local support base who will fight tooth and nail against joining the Super League.
I agree with the comments above - let them go. I think the PL would soon become more important than the super league again and the plastics who remain supporting those clubs will soon get tired of 4 games a season agains Real Madrid.
The reality is that clubs like Real and Barcelona need a super league because they’ve f*cked up their finances so much. English clubs don’t. Still can’t help thinking the timing of this announcement is because of the Man City APT case result?
