It is fantastic.

I am delighted for our other players playing for their own nations but I always felt that getting players into the Scotland squad was a real mark of progress.

If players see that they can make that jump when playing for us it bodes well

I think we are all aware of some of our players being overlooked in the past despite playing better than those chosen because they play for the gruesome twosome or some English outfit

Back when we kept finishing second in the league and doing well in the cups, none of our players got near the Scotland squad. Meanwhile, players at a new lower league club were being handed caps by the fistful.
