The only English manager I would remotely put in the frame is Eddie Howe but what has he really done?

Agree but it probably highlights the lure of the Premiership and poison chalice of the England job, who actually comes out of that job usually better off career wise than when they took it?

Exactly Howe/Potter are the two standout names but they can’t win anything as they are not at clubs who were geared to win trophies.

Chelsea are not what they were and listening to Potter the other week he was telling em pros and cons of signings etc in other words the owner was buying all the players and he didn’t agree with most of them but he couldn’t outright say that on tv.

It is normally I agree but I’d guess Southgate will land a decent job off the back of it he’ll fail of course as he isn’t much good he just had very kind draws with England.
