Paul is one of my all time favourite singers songwriters,if you listen to cds howoldboy (old school I know) there’s a greatest hits album that although not comprehensive certainly brings some great songs fron his long career together on one disc,I’ve got two copies and if you want I could send you one for free or if you go on eBay you can pick up a new one up for £4-£5 including p+p

Unfortunately I binned my CD player about 10 years ago and now have a couple of hundred CDs sitting in the basement pending me working out what to do with them.

I listen to "Best of Paul Heaton" on Spotify which has 31 tracks and lasts about an hour and a half. May not be exactly the same as your CD but I suspect is similar.

I have always been a sucker for good lyrics and his are brilliant.

You have good taste in music.

No problem howoldboy and I’m pleased that you enjoy Heatons music as much as I do,he’s a very English songwriter much the same as Ray Davis is and he can write some bitter lines when he puts his mind to it,there’s a bootleg 7 cd boxset out there somewhere that I’ve been hunting for about 15 years but I’ve never even seen one for sale never mind had the chance to buy it

I was one of the first in line for tickets for six unplugged gigs that Paul Heaton was doing next year and got a ticket for Sheffield for £20,yep thsts twenty quid to see the great man perform,what’s more he was doing a bundle deal of a ticket and his cd that got released this week for £25,ridiculous value for money and shows how he looks after his fans,the gigs was sold out twenty minutes later
