Excuse the Fox News, but the other US media is so extreme, they just tell lies. If Trump found a cure for cancer, they’d slag him off.

I watched the whole interview she did with Fox News today. For God’s sake, anyone who would vote for her needs to be sectioned.
The Trump vote is anti-establishment. Harris is the epitome of the ruling classes. I don’t think the media in the UK show all/any of her or Walz’s faux pas. I follow the election on many different media outlets and the BBC is so biased, it’s not funny.
Check their news story updates. Most of the stories on there are days old, even though Trump is flying high in the polls and Harris going backwards. They report on him sneezing, but ignore her bumbling, rambling statements.
People we know in the US say that Trump will win in a landslide. And before those who are anti-Trump start talking about the ‘popular vote’ , just remember how many votes Reform got in the last election and how many seats in Parliament they got.

The man is dangerous. He's obviously being leveraged by Putin and is only running in the hope he can be pardoned. If Biden had any sense, he'd offer to pardon him in exchange for him never running again. It's two fold, if he breaks the terms of the pardon, he's already admitted guilt so if he runs, straight to prison, if he doesn't, the world is a safer place
Polls are one thing but voter turnout is another as we know from Brexit. Although at 72.2% turnout which is about average, you have thought it would have been higher for such an important issue. I think that the largest group who didn't vote yet are ironically most vocal on the topic, are students and other youngsters whose vote, had they been able to get out of bed, could have altered the outcome so they only have themselves to blame.
I'd guess that Trump is such a divisive, polarising figure, that many of those apathetic souls who rarely vote, will be likelier to do so, especially after the last debacle so it may be an even higher turnout than the last time which was a relatively high 65.9%
Trump has surrounded himself with some decent people to be fair, some of whom are former Democrats - which tells you everything you need to know about the direction the Dems are going in.
It's a shame that someone else isn't the Republican candidate though. People like Vivek Ramaswamy and RFK Junior are clearly more dialled in and less controversial than Trump. Vivek is about as impressive a candidate as you could have as far as I'm concerned. Trump, on the other hand, is so divisive that some people will vote for Harris simply because she's Trump's opposition.
If Trump wins, I'm interested to see if he follows through on his idea to have Elon Musk audit the entire public sector. I'm convinced that with the right processes in place and the sort of dynamism and performance standards you see in the private sector, you could halve the state and enjoy a more efficient and fair system.

Yeah, there seems to be a major shift in recent years. The Democrats are now the party of the wealthy. I read that in the last election, Biden voters held 70% of America's wealth, which turns traditional left-right stereotypes on their heads.
It's a little bit similar in the UK. Labour are the party for middle-class metropolitan elites and liberal woke types. Lots of working class people have moved over to Reform.
Looks like whoever’s in charge first job ….
