The problem is that if anyone believes that Trump or Harris solely run the US, then, well, what can I say? Biden has been 'running' the US for the last three and half years and he has dementia.

It's not the figureheads, it how they got there and what they stand for. The whole world has turned upside down over the years. Previously the Republicans were about capitalism and the Democrats were about the working class - even though the Democrat Presidents were all super wealthy before they took office.

From what I understand, the Americans are voting for either the establishment, that has put many into poverty, flooded their country with migrants and moved many American jobs overseas to sweatshops or:

Voting for a more inward looking administration, in a country that has historically always been isolationist, that is offering them more better paid jobs, better living conditions and fewer US service personnel stationed in war zones.

The Democrats are now for the wealthy. Apart from Musk (who is with Trump), most of the benefactors to the Democratic Party are incredibly rich. They are looking after their own wealth. Look how many old school Billionaire Republicans are switching to the blue side. Does that not raise any questions?

Childish comments about Trump, gleaned from left-wing billionaire press groups is not what the people who are living in the US are interested in.

And we all know how good the Brits are at electing superb governments don't we - glass houses!

I heard an interview with Vivek Ramaswamy recently where he explained that those voting for Harris are voting for a machine. The machine has chosen her as the figurehead, but the actual running of the country will continue in spite of her if she wins, just as it has in spite of Biden. That sounds about right to me. For anyone who disagrees, do you really think a senile old man who couldn't hold down a job in Lidl is running the world's most powerful country?

The Democrats, as you say, are the establishment party now.
