Romared Match Thoughts Blackpool v Barnsley

We've got a taxi booked for 3 PM Tomorrow afternoon and heading to Wakefield city centre for a few drinks before our Grand Final against Toulouse so I won't be tuning in tomorrow .

Hopefully we can play better than of late and come back with at least a point .

The Blackpool game last season was the last straw for the very unfortunate Neil Collins , could history repeat itself with a very poor performance and a drubbing ? .

Can't see owt changing in terms of performance. Blacky in their honeymoon period under Bruce. It all points to another defeat

I can see us wiping floor with them if we're fit enough and more direct. Then I woke up.

Their manager, Steve Bruce, apparently won’t be there due to the death of his grandson. Awful.

Regarding us, I really hope these 2 weeks of training will help our performance levels. Blackpool away today and then Charlton Tuesday, if they’re 2 more poor, nothing performances then Clarke will be under serious pressure I would’ve thought.

The Tinker Man has struck again , lets hope todays tinkering does the business but my first thoughts are not positive , hopefully my muted reaction to the team is unfounded and we romp home.

Yep - the potential is there to do just that.
    But can’t see it happening.

Starting lineup looks 541 to me.
    One striker.
Supported by Dunn and Phillips coming from midfield.
Hopefully Connell and Russell will be playing side by side anchoring the middle.
I can see Yoga getting some game time today.

No Cosgrove or Tap Watter today.
    Which ain’t a bad thing.
Again showing the weakness we have up front.

I was hoping we might have seen the return of Watters , he started the season reasonably well and you could see his confidence was returning, he is arguably our quickest player and we sadly lack pace , we have no out and out striker on the bench and our options look limited , he hasn"t played since getting injured at Crawley but no info or updates on his recovery or current situation are forthcoming , why am I not surprised !!

    1st Half
    I haven’t a clue what I’ve just watched.
Most of the time - especially defending - we look like a bottom 6 team.
But then there’s glimpses when we knock the ball about like a top 2 team.
    Winning 0-1.
But the score line could have been owt.

    2nd Half
We are all over the piano.
Two poor to average 1st Division teams.
Potential is clearly there - but Barnsley still looking very unorganised.
    Uninspiring.

Good in patches, bad in patches but somebody has got to get that defense organized.
I thought O,Keefe had a decent game but the player I can’t weigh up is Earl, I’m not say I don’t like the lad but he’s neither a central defender or a wing back?
At time he can look good when he’s on a charge, a bit like kitchen but then can remain static when defending
