    Its not his fault that the board decided that he and Isak are go-to pair for 2024-25 season.

    Wilson missed 18 PL games in 23-24 season, Isak 6. It is 48% and 16%.
    Chances are you’ll have 20 games in a season without a striker on the bench and 3 games without both of them.

    That is just not enough, and it's a permanent problem which seriously needs to be addressed if we are indeed going to be in a position to challenge for anything at all this season.

    Agreed, it's not his fault.

    However, keeping him as our main back-up was down to Eddie Howe rather than the board.

    It depends on decision making process in the club.
    Does physio has any say in it? Can he have a meeting and say he expects Wilson to miss 9-10 games a season and not 20?

    As I see things right now for NUFC physio and fitness coaches should have some say in recruiting - like “we are thin in CF with our injury record, Burn and Schar can last an entire season, no need to bring Guehi”
