Thought we had some good moments today. We definitely moved the ball forward a bit quicker today but defensively we looked a bit all over, especially just after they scored.

I thought DKD had his best game since his debut and Gent looked good down the left too.

Great result and something to take into Charlton on Tuesday night.

I thought we played very well in the ist half with a lot quicker tempo to our play plus a well worked goal but the second hald began with Blackpool taking the upper hand, we were starting to get deeper in our play yet it was still a surprise when Blackpool scored although the defence were fast asleep and should have dealt with a bread and butter free kick a lot better , as the game went on thankfully we regained some of our composure and this time the Tinker man made a call that actually worked, with Pines being introduced for the corner being about to be taken suddenly Blackpool had a lot more to deal with , credit Connell for an excellent delivery but the extra panic in the Blackpool defence gave Roberts a bit more freedom to get on the end of things and that was that. Over the 90 minutes I thought we deserved the points, good performances by Dunn and Gent were very welcome but my MOM went to Connell who seemed to be involved in everything today from start to finish.

A much needed better performance at least, compared to the recent ones.
I would have taken the point beforehand, but rather than sit back in stoppage time, we went to win it and that's very pleasing.
The Orange Lashers will say we were lucky etc, and I admit there might be some truth to that.
And although I think we'd dropped to 14th at one point, this has now got us back to just goal difference behind 6th. 👍

Cracking win and hopefully the start of better things , I understand the team had way more energy about them and a better tempo than of late .

Can we do it at Oakwell is the question ??

A deserved victory imo. Thought Luca and Russell were superb and gave us options on the ball with their vision and quality. They both passed the ball really well at times. I was surprised by the performance because things had gone so flat of late it looked like the rott could've set in. However it's about backing it up with another good performance next week and finding the consistency. The home record in 2024 is terrible and we need to sort it out.

I agree it's been crap. Went to the Stockport game and it was babba.
