Yeovil kept up their push for the play-offs with a win over lowly Wealdstone in the National League.

Goals from Brett McGavin, Aaron Jarvis and Ciaran McGuckin extended their unbeaten run to four matches and left them two points off the top seven.

McGuckin had a goal chalked off for offside in the 16th minute, 10 minutes before McGavin nodded in at the back post to open the scoring.

Jarvis’ header doubled the Glovers’ lead from Dom Bernard’s cross in the 52nd minute, and McGuckin prodded in six minutes later to extend the advantage.

Wealdstone, who are now winless in nine league games, had a good chance to claw back a consolation via Max Kretzschmar, but his close-range effort was denied by a quick-thinking Ollie Wright to preserve his clean sheet.

Behave gru, you just did your usual thing of drawing a young players name out of a hat and banging on about him in the hope that’ll you’ll be proclaimed a football genius if ever comes good. Remember when you ‘spotted’ the likes of Bailey-King, Jake Cooper and Akeem Hinds to just name three? Where are they now?

Didn't draw him out of a hat watched him play in friendly's pre-season before last. I picked McCart out as well in friendly's a season or 2 before that.
