Forest owner banned for spitting towards officials

Trying to put a positive spin on this is difficult. but there are examples of clubs going into the PL, doing enough to stay up and then having one or two really good seasons suggesting they might become a force or at least part of the furniture, expectations are raised but from that point on they can never do as well and everything begins to go into reverse when they realise they've banged their heads on a ceiling. Wolves might be in that process now having finished as high as 7th. In the last decade or two Stoke had a run of finishing 9th in the PL three seasons in a row but have now spent the last 6 seasons in the bottom half of tier 2. Leeds finished 9th, Sheff Utd also 9th, WBA 8th, Swansea 8th, Watford 11th, Birmingham 9th.

Yeovil game was probably one of my favourite games of all time. I decided I was staying in (think it was a Friday night) few Forest fans rung me before halftime and said they were going town and would pick me up to go and watch second half, basically to celebrate in the big city, well I did celebrate.
Hopefully this is similar, not seen any yet today but when I do they’ll be comments around pushing for a European spot and whilst the fall from grace wont be as quick as the Yeovil game it might be a long painful death throughout the season 😂

Too right one of my favourite memories together with the PO defeats they suffered v Blackpool and Sheff Utd.
Just better than their League Cup defeat at Accrington Stanley.
