Carlos is a decent gaffer and he's never had a squad that anyone could say would romp the league. He’s never had a decent budget to play with and always over performed.

I don’t think we can do better than Carlos, who not so long ago we were desperate to keep from premier league sides.

I wouldn’t get too excited and wish him gone over a bad bit of form. Plenty of times where top managers have endured dips. Be careful what you wish for!

Football is an entertainment business Matt and it’s the dire slow tedious football that’s boring the majority. Make no mistake about it - it’s the majority. This coupled with awful starting selections! Players don’t know whether they are coming and going especially a young kid like Fellows.

If knowledgeable forum members like Prando / 123 and Bomber are bored. That tells the story!

My son said let’s go to Hull. Personally I can’t face it to watch maybe 1 chance on goal and tedious slow sideways football, Sunderland have no money but don’t pay like this!!’n

Sunderland are an example of a club that have invested small amounts over the last 4-5 seasons and it’s now paying off. We haven’t been able to do that because there has been no money. Corberan has made our first two money signings this year. Sunderland have a better squad than us and better players.

Our drop off in form came when sides figured out what to do with Fellows. He’s good, but not that good. Frankly when he came on, he got beat easily and they nearly scored so maybe the call to play Wallace saved us a point!

I don’t think it’s wrong to criticise Corberan but it’s turned a little fickle, against a bloke who without money has turned us from a relegation battling side to a play off contender. He repeatedly over performs. Be careful what you wish for, this isn’t a great side and is probably where it should be in the league.
