Evans record isn't that good, his last success was l2 to l1 with stevenage and before that it was with us, he has only won 3 promotions in the football league 2 of them with us.
Since returning he has done 22 games (not 16) W8 D6 l8 36.4% win ratio.

So i wouldn't say his style of managing and playing is that successful

And I don't agree that we can't find a better manager. We sacked 2 in MT and LR that are streets ahead of Evans when it comes to recent success, tactical know how, player development and transfer market dealings.

Both would have built a better squad and played better football in this division than what we are seeing now.
