    I think there would be far more unrest if Trump lost like the last election. He isn't used to losing and can't accept it. You don't take much notice of what these so called stars say, how many times do you hear it said if so and so win the election I will leave the country but sadly they never do.

    Back to the thread title, it looks like the betting odds were pretty much spot on as a prediction.

    It will be interesting to see if Trump lasts the full term, he seems increasingly unhinged. There are those on here who say there are some good politicians in the Republican party, one of them replacing Trump mid term would probably be the best outcome.

    If Trump resigns or dies, JD Vance will automatically become President (25th Amendment). There's a strict line of succession after that (Presidential Succession Act).

    Interestingly after the VP, next in line is Speaker of the House. Assuming the Republicans keep control, that's probably Mike Johnson... who says he shared a "secret" with Trump pre-election.
