Oh yeah, the bloke who was elected to represent the people of Clacton as their MP. I wonder how much time he's spent representing the people of Clacton and how much time he's spent sucking up to Trump since being elected?

A bit like the 100 or so Labour 'Volunteers' that went over to help the Harris campaign - just for balance :-)

Not one of them was an elected member of parliament, so your comment has no relevance at all.

After several failures Farage went straight into the most likely seat for a Reform win, once he got the win he didn't give a flying f@ck about the people of Clacton. Nigel Farage is only interested in representing Nigel Farage - "In August 2024, Farage revealed as part of his obligation to the Register of Members' Financial Interests once entering parliament that he is earning over a million pounds per year for work done outside parliament, an amount that is estimated to be significantly higher than that of any other member of parliament".

Just an honest question, who paid for them to go?

Yeah, well what about the Tories who did the same

A former Tory Cabinet minister has been to the US to campaign for Democrat candidates because, he says, Donald Trump "flies in the face" of his conservative values. Robert Buckland, who served as both justice secretary and Welsh secretary during his 14 years as a Tory MP, said he hopes Kamala Harris wins the November presidential election so the UK has a "stable ally and world power at a time when it is needed desperately".

Some of them have even put their shirt on it happening ...

Rory Stewart is facing the loss of a huge sum of money after he placed a big bet on Kamala Harris to win the US election.
The ex-Cabinet minister confidently told his nearly 600,000 social media followers earlier this week that Ms Harris would 'win comfortably'. He even revealed he had 'bet the maximum I was allowed to bet' on the Democrat candidate to win the battle for the White House.

At least some of us lefties called the betting right.

As for Harris, I don't know what they see in her, she just seemed to want to carry on the damaging agenda of Biden, a ridiculous senile old fool with laughable anti-British views based on some misconception about his ancestors. The US needs a direction that doesn't involve perpetual war everywhere it can cause one, a policy the likes of Blair, Cameron, Johnson and now I fear Starmer have slavishly followed. That has been the root cause of most of our problems, including mass migration, inflation, fuel poverty and so on, and it needs change.

The massive downside of Trump winning is the extra power it gives to the likes of Musk, who will now be out of control.

Good post Bohinen. As an aside, Trump is much further to the left than the media portray him. It's just that the 'left' has gone that far around the political spectrum, that they are almost on the right.

Let’s see how the next UK election goes, but my guess is that a lot of disgruntled voters will jump on the Farage bandwagon.
Tories have lost all credibility and Labour have pissed a fair few off just with there first budget.
