    Religion has nothing to do with it. Abusers will get positions near children in every walk of life.
    I can see people using this to give believers a kicking, but wars are fought for land and power, ask Putin and Hitler.

    The protection of religious institutions is everything to do with it. The very same religious institutions that have manipulated the entire planet in so many ways throughout recorded history.

    Their religion didn't make them do it, but the toxic religious organisations they operate within have routinely placed their reputations over morality.

    Séx crimes against children should be punished with the ending of the life of the person committining the crime regardless of race or religion! The law of the land should be of such and if you break that law you should be punished to the letter of the law!

    Not entirely Ulley.

    The treatment of young women and girls having children out of wedlock in Ireland was related to their 'sin', as was Smyth's abuse of young men for mastur_bation.

    At my wife's primary school punishment (caning) was handed out (ha!) for incorrectly describing the colour of the vestments worn by the priest at the Sunday service.
