In reality, TS and SE will be clear about what the expectations were/are, and the players weren't likely to be having days off in the sense they'd be binge-eating and lazing around on their XBox - they'll still be eating well and doing some training of their own, just not the same drills, tape, intensity as 'at work'.

Training regimes in 2024 should take into account fitness, strains, etc, so I'd imagine (or hope) that anyone carrying a knock would have already had their regimes adjusted to account for it.

Feels like a non-story designed to give the fans a bit of a fuzzy feeling that they're as pissed off as we are.
I agree but isn't it simply a case of damned if they do, damned if they don't?

It is, and I'm not suggesting they're wrong to do this, only that it's a non-story if you weigh up what's being said. If anything, it's good to see the club have recognised how fans feel and have at least churned out a few lines to show they're aware.

CAM, the players need to be damned after last Friday's performance. It's almost evident the players don't want to play for Evans, it's toxic and it needs Stewart to get the team/Evans together and lay down the law end of. Give it to both of them and all in the same room with a free speech table to let everyone speak their mind, only then will Stewart see the real problem.

BTW, love to be a fly on the wall for that kind of meeting.
