FPS stated that they would buy back Dens Park for the Dundee FC supporters who could repay them over a period of time.
I was not at the meeting but it was well documented at the time.
I have since spoken to a number of Dee4life members who like myself bitterly regret voting in favour of FPS acquiring a majority shareholding in Dundee Football Club Limited because FPS have not carried out what they said they would do.
The minutes of Dee4life AGM held on 6th December 2014 are very interesting as included in the minutes is a section which states that a business plan for the purchase of Dens Park from Sandeman Properties Limited was being presented to the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors in January 2015.
Bill Colvin was the Chairman of Dundee Football Club Limited and a partner of FPS at that time.

Thank you for your information Islay. Do you honestly think that buying back Dens and then the supporters paying FPS back is /was the better option?

Buying back Dens Park was the best option and Bill Colvin was in favour of it.
Sadly when Bill Colvin resigned as Chairman of Dundee Football Club Limited and a partner in FPS the opportunity for the Dundee FC supporters to purchase Dens Park ended.
I know for a fact that a Dundee FC supporter spent a year of his life preparing a business case for the buying back of Dens Park. When this person arrived to make a presentation to John Nelms he (Nelms) did not want to know.
I also heard that John Nelms asked the Dundee FC supporter to leave his business plan with him but the Dundee FC supporter refused to leave it.
