all last season people were talking about Osimhen as a ?150million player. He's apparenntly after a ?300,000 a week salary.

Italy is not the Premier League and the Nigerian ended up in Turkey on loan due to a bust up with the Napoli brass. Who's fault that is remains to be seen, the club did some insanely insulting stuff on social media, borderline racist. Whether the player has a bad attitude or not is unclear as we don't know the lad day to day.

However, we do know Isak day to day. He's learned pure Geordie and is a great lad. His recent comments about being happy at the club are clear that he's confident with the group and the manager that we can play UCL football again next season and win trophies.

I don't see him leaving in the summer of 2025 unless some how Eddie completely falls apart and we finish 8th or lower.

There are some good mid-table teams like Forest who are overperforming and they'll improve on last seasons finish however, that step up to challenge top 4 - 6 is probably beyond them on the showing against us last weekend.

The adidas deal is in it's 2nd year. The club shop is generating massive revenue. Sela's into the 3rd year. We've got $60+ million in the bank that was allocated for the Guehi sale that never happened.

We didn't spend in the summer so our PSR situation this Jan and Summer is looking much stronger.

We've got a lot more fringe players out of contract which will again reduce the wage bill and free up more headroom to ensure we keep out top stars, potentially offer them improved contracts and also add a few more players of quality in the weaker positions.
