You presumably know that you can preview before posting?

And, even if you do happen to miss something, you can still edit it afterwards.

    Just saying, like.

Always proud to be an American just as I am a parent, spouse or a Leeds supporter.

You can't just pick the times you want to support a country or team. You always do your best to support and effect positive change. People who only support during the good times make you wonder if they are really behind the cause. The stakes are highest on parenting but it works it's way down to country, work, neighborhood, church etc.

Quite enjoyed this thread as it's made me think a bit more about points of view that draw different, but logical, conclusions when essentially presented with the same basic "facts".

Always good to keep an open mind.

Quantum mechanics has always done my noggin in...

Quantum mechanics mmm, another frustrating issue for me & maybe others is when on here in my case French or other special characters accents do not appear correctly when used in foreign players names.
Recently I tried to reply to Oz with a smart ass comical one liner in Greek & on preview all was ok but when sent the Greek words individual letters I had used had totally changed so I deleted the post & it only happens on my Samsung Galaxy presently.

This is not something I experience at work when I often reply in my break using an old ipad often on here & everything goes out & all posts appear correctly.

So character examples I'm having problems with are ? & ?. So for example the word could be Arr?t & you can see thats what in the editor. But instead of the '?' there is an odd shape or a question mark instead after posted. I know some of my posts are slightly long but having to use 3 devices to debate with WTF 24/7 is taking the pi$$🤣

Again, let me emphasize that the characters are entered correctly in the text editor & appear OK but when sent they will be messed up on android.

The geek explanation is the use of TTF or SHX files or altenatively to jump onto my phone with both feet. All the characters needed are there but cannot always be used on Mad for some reason now?

Whatever, the issue is or was or still is on Mad I can currently report my hyphens are ok but jeez its a lottery on here for me using inverted commas, speech marks, quotes, quotemarks, or talking marks now.

Why I dunno but its not my hands & its 😤&👎& very🙁 annoying.
    Just saying🤗

    You're not wrong!

Some of the predictive text changes are less than helpful too (I have four different devices I use to access here, but only really trust my desktop Mac).

I type a lot on a smaller I phone. My big fat fingers are going to make a lot of mistakes and the correction process is maddening. I usually make it worse.

I guess I'll just say that if you get the gist of what I'm trying to say it worked. Not a fine finished product like I'd prefer to write but it is an internet blog!

Agreed, and agree with the sentiment regarding the pride in country, family etc. Question behind the reason for posting the link relates to the morality of the deportations referred to, with the potential for entire families, some of whom have never known any other home than the USA. This bearing in mind that a majority of Americans voted for a Presidential candidate for whom that moral matter clearly holds no weight.

    FAO WTF.
An interesting film on the UKs long running Nuclear Bomb testing scandal now been acted upon as nuclear weapon test veterans seek compensation by demanding all records to be released of Government cover ups, noted.

Another example rewriting history facts via many years of alternative theories being exchanged forcing investigation regarding serious health issues with veterans which are to be aired on national BBC 2 , Wednesday 9pm & available on BBC i player too.

Just so sad that some of the contributors are speaking out for the first time at why they fight for justice still & want to be heard publicly to tell what really happened to them. 😔

Also FYA too - regarding this upgrade to UK arsenal - Britain test fires new cruise missile.

Not quite sure of the intent of the post? To engender an angry response from me, to get me to challenge the injustice of the way those use as test rat's during bomb tests? Clearly you'll get neither as I'm broadly sympathetic to the claims made by such veterans and disappointed that succesive government of all political stripes have failed them, repeatedly.

Some of.those affected may, as you say, be speaking out for the first time but the campaign has been "current" for decades.

If your reason for posting was to raise the subject of "theory" again, please don't bother. My opinions is that theorizing looks to future event possibilities, you disagree and suggest it can view historical fact. We're not going to agree, and of.
