It seems to be a popular opinion that the players are good enough. I'm not so sure. They look crap to me. Obviously Evans deserves the stick he is getting but the players seem incapable of doing the simple things. I can see the reasoning because we know for instance that Humphries was a very good player and now he isn't. However I can't think of a player who has had a good game for the full 90 minutes.
If they aren't giving 100% to make a point they can eff off for me. They get bloody good wages . The Millers are the main thing in life for some fans (not me thank god and I'm getting less and less interested) Whtever they think of the manager they should not be tossing it off.
ELK, perphaps we could try playing them in their right positions?
If it means Evans gets the boot, I'm happy to forsake this game. I've never wanted us to lose before, but our situation is so dire, it's worth it on this occasion!
which to me says nothing good is being done on the training ground
I?d rather be losing 1-0 to the likes of Norwich than Crawley
Footballers are no different from any other work force, if the management are crap and you don’t get on then you underperform it is a natural thing. I suspect that players are taking longer to recover, or being ill or whatever because they are not happy at work. Not saying it is right but it is always the way it is. There are clearly big issues with the trading and coaching and I suspect our best players are amazed at how bad it is. We need to remember we have been out played by 4 L2 teams, and although we beat Bradford we were very lucky they hit the post 3 times and our keeper pulled off a great save.
Come the next transfer window the players will want to be playing football somewhere.
Anyone watching the tapes of our games will not see anything worth signing.
Perhaps most are ready to retire!
