If people work hard all their lives and make a success of themselves, even in a small way, why shouldn’t they leave the fruits of their labour to their children and not the state. These individuals haven’t been a burden on society, in fact the opposite. The problem with the Labour Party is that they dumb down everybody to the same level and don’t reward success or encourage excellence. As someone has written before, the closing of state grammar schools is a prime example. Oh no, we mustn’t encourage bright pupils, that isn’t fair!
