    Arbroath double header

Two away fixtures against Arbroath incoming. One this weekend in the Scottish Cup followed by a league fixture a week later that?s live on BBC ALBA at 5.30pm.
What would be rather win ? The cup game with a potential money maker in the next round or a ***** 3 league points ? Personally I?d like to win both but we?re playing a team in form. Hopefully with the postponement last Saturday it?s given our injured players more time to regain fitness. Queens must now try to kick on & get a run of winning games together as this season has been rather disappointing after a good start. Feel for the manager though as our injury situation has been a nightmare but I also think he needs to start approaching games with a different approach.
I still think we?ll come good though and we need to trust the process. Off the pitch things are like night & day thanks to Jim McLinden & his side kick Dan Armstrong. We?re extremely lucky to have them both at Palmerston.

For me, it's the Cup match 100%. It's a one off game which could bring a future glamour tie with money to invest in the team, so this Saturday has to be a win or bust.
I agree Johnny, we will (probably) come good and at the very least scrape a top 4 position with a chance for promotion, but a win this Saturday could transform our season. Being kicked out of the Scottish Cup before December and little prospect of investment in January would lead to the naysayers having a field day.
We could win this week and lose next week and still have a great season, - but lose on Saturday and it'll be a hard fecht.

Ideally we should win both but given the choice it has to be 3 points every time. To my mind our only hope of promotion is to win the league outright. We are lucky the standard is so poor that we are still in contention despite our poor performances. I don't know where the idea that "we will come good" comes from. We must be about one third of the way through the season now and we are showing no signs of any consistency. Granted we have been unlucky with injuries but that is what a squad is for. As I've said before ,we must adopt a more attack minded approach to games rather than hoping we can go through a game without conceding.

I see where you're coming from Beautiful South, but the 3 points can be won any time (or just as easily lost). The Scottish Cup is a completely different beast, - and it gets fans excited and brings bums back on seats.

Just a couple of days before the most important game of the season, - and fingers crossed that Queens get through to the next round without any further injuries.

Let's hope that the manager really goes for the win from the off and some of our misfiring strikers get going.

Well a great win for Queens and a tough tie in the 4th round away to St Mirren.

Thought it was a bit coincidental, - when I asked my phone! The draw takes place on Monday!

Fingers crossed for a better draw this year

Victory secured now here's hoping for a good home draw. It would be great to see Palmerston full and bouncing once again, it's been too long.
