I wasn’t at today’s game but apparently we were very good in the first half but poor in the second. For those who were there, was it us sitting back again and trying to hold out for the win? If it was, it just emphasises the fact that it must be the tactics!

    I watched via ifollow.
We more or less shaded the first half. Towards the end of the 45 Preston were dominant.

Heckingbottom knew what he had to do. He made changes, they came out fired up and it was a matter of time before they scored. They looked the most likely to score again for the next 15 minutes. However we dug ourselves out but although we had decent possession we didn't really threaten their goal.

Then the usual subs: Maja, Fellows, Mowatt, Racic off. Johnston, Styles, Swift and Wallace on.

The game petered out in the usual fashion.

Teams worked us out long ago. If we score we sit back and invite pressure. We inevitably concede. Rinse and repeat.
